ABOUT

Fryderyk Chopin is a Polish pianist and composer who was born to Catholic musicians in Żelazowa Wola (a village not-to-far from Warsaw) on the first of March, 1810. A prodigy likened to Mozart, he had been playing piano and composing music since he was a small child. He was his own worst critic, and did not publish several of his works during his lifetime. Most of his pieces are for solo piano, but others are for cello, violin, flute, piano and voice, or piano and orchestra. He had a wry sense of humor, and was also a talented singer, dancer, artist, cook, and poet. Some think that he may have Asperger's. He also loved hot chocolate, and the scent of violets.

“O, how good our God is!”
“I believe.”
“I love God and man.”
“Besides love, music the best solution to any problem; it feeds the heart with what it needs in the moment.”
